Applications

Recommended for joining rigid PVC pipes and fittings used in electrical conduit, sewer, drain, waste and vent systems. Confirm any potable-water, irrigation, gas-pipe or pressure-pipe application against the current technical data sheet before adding it to the website.

Directions for Use

Cut the pipe square and remove all burrs.
Clean and dry the pipe and fitting surfaces with a clean cloth.
Apply a thin layer of cement inside the fitting socket. Avoid excess cement.
Apply a full, even layer of cement to the pipe end up to the socket depth.
Assemble the joint immediately while the cement is wet. Twist the pipe one-eighth to one-quarter turn, then hold it firmly for 30 to 40 seconds to prevent movement.
Wipe away excess cement with a clean, dry cloth. Handle the newly assembled joint carefully.
Allow the joint to set before handling it or applying pressure. Follow the approved curing time before pressure testing.
Do not pressure-test the joint until the cement is fully cured.
Keep the container tightly closed when it is not in use.
Do not mix the product with any other solvent.

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
Keep the container closed when not in use.
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources.
Do not use the product if it becomes jelly-like; replace it with fresh material.
